Course Description:

Library Science 130: Information Access Strategies (3 credits)

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of information access, search, retrieval and transfer. Emphasis will be placed upon the basic tools and skills of library research as well as technologies which facilitate access to information. The course will include introduction to word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, e-mail, web design and the Internet.
