The Heritage Network of Decatur - Macon County in Illinois was founded in 1988 to foster community pride by offering support and guidance to individuals and groups who are collecting, preserving, and interpreting the heritage of the area.

We seek to manage the record of the past and guide the use of this record to build an exciting future for Decatur  and Macon County. There are currently 23 organizations represented.
