
Dr. Nicholas Baeth is an associate professor of mathematics and the University of Central Missouri where he has taught since earning his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Nebraska in 2005. Prior to graduate studies, Nick attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA where he majored in both mathematics and computer science. Dr. Baeth's research interests lie in the field of commutative algebra - in particular in the disciplines of factorization theory in commutative rings and monoids and in the representation theory of modules over local rings. When not doing or teaching mathematics, Nick enjoys reading, cooking, biking, and rock climbing.
