Sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates, "DebateWatch is a voter education program of the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). DebateWatch brings citizens like you together to watch the televised debates, talk about what you learned, and, if you choose to, share your reactions with the CPD" (http://www.debates.org/pages/dwoverview.html). For the first presidential debate, held on September 30, 2004, Dr. Priscilla Meddaugh, Dr. Brian Posler, and Prof. Matt Tucker organized Millikin's first ever Debatewatch. Attended by nearly 350 students, faculty, staff, and community members, the event was an overwhelming success.
