Author Presentation using Power Point--50 points

 As part of the course, you will create a Powerpoint presentation on a science fiction author you signed up for, including  her/his detailed biography, and a detailed bibliography of the works she or he has written. You should become an "expert" on the author and his/her works through research, then present your expertise to the class with text and visual aids within a series of Powerpoint slides. It is strongly recommended you utilize both library and web page information that already exist for your presentations.

Your presentation should include, at a minimum:

• a quote or two of your favorite passage or passages by the author
• a detailed biography of the author
• a detailed bibliography of the author
• a brief timeline of the author's life and works
• any available images of the author or images related to the author's works
• a list of the best "educational" web sites available for the author
• a Works Cited page at the end of the presentation, listing the written and online sources consulted
