1. Research a contemporary business-related topic that interests you. Your research should include reading at least three different articles or chapters from books, not including our text. You may also wish to search the web for information on the topic, in addition to your required print sources.

Using MS Power Point software, prepare a visual presentation on your topic, summarizing your combined research, especially through the use of visual aids. You will share the presentation with the rest of the class electronically by uploading the file into our Blackboard course.

2. Get instructor approval on the topic (-20 with no approval).

3. Read and analyze the articles/chapters/web sites.

4. Read and digest Chapter 16.

5. Prepare a presentation that demonstrates both your knowledge of Chapter 16 and of the articles/chapters you are presenting to the rest of the class.

6. At the beginning of the presentation, provide a half page abstract/summary of the articles/chapters you are presenting and an introduction to your overall presentation. Include article/book citations in a Works Cited listing at the end of the presentation.

The Presentation Itself Should Include/Demonstrate Knowledge of:

• multiple types of visual aids, such as tables, a various kinds of charts
• introducing illustrations in the text
• choosing titles and headings with a message
• presenting summarized information correctly
• crediting visual information properly
