Grades are not inflated in this course. The best way to obtain a good grade
is to keep up with the reading and assignments, study hard for quizzes/exams,
and work on written projects by following the correct formats, writing multiple
drafts, with attention given to revision, editing, and proofreading, and utilizing
multiple peer and professional readers. I will be glad to discuss my grading
with you at length at any time other than the day I hand back the graded assignment.
