Grades are not inflated in this course. The best way to obtain a good grade
is to keep up with the reading and assignments, study hard for quizzes/exams,
and work on written projects by following the correct formats, writing multiple
drafts, with attention given to revision, editing, and proofreading, and utilizing
multiple peer and professional readers (ie Using the Writing
Center). I will be glad to discuss my grading with you at length at any
time other than the day I hand back the graded assignment.
