Making Up a Missed Excused Quiz

If after missing a quiz and speaking to me the next class period to determine if you missed the quiz for an "excuseable" reason, you may makeup up to two quizzes during the semster.

To do this you must write an extended biography of a science-fiction writer we are NOT covering in class this semster. If you missed an A-Quiz, your biography should be about a page or 250 words long. If you missed a B-Quiz, your biography should be about two pages, or 500 words, long. Both lengths of biographies should include a Works Cited list of all the sources you consulted in putting together your makeup.

You must get approval of which author to write on, so we don't repeat biographies.
