Readability

___text size, colors and backgrounds provide clear readability in all platforms and software

Links and Anchors:

___navigation and orientation for minimal scrolling

___sense of a hierarchical tree/index/table of contents

___navigation anchors back to top that are well spaced throughout entire page

___navigation back to the main web page from lower level links

General characteristics:

___clearly labeled and unique page title

___clear descriptors in all links and anchors

___a good mix of icons and images fitting page purpose and design concepts

___adequate white/clear space and well space elements throughout

___page loads quickly--page should load under 30 secs on a 56K modem

___all graphics limited in width___individual graphics under 100k in size

___closes with your name, date/revision information
