Grades are not inflated in this course. The best way to obtain a good grade is to study hard for quizzes and exams, and work on written projects by following the correct formats, writing multiple drafts, with attention given to revision, editing, proofreading and testing. All deadlines are absolute and final. It is recommended that you finish assignments early. For this course, late assignments receive a 20% penalty for each day they are turned in late. I will be glad to discuss my grading with you at length at any time other than the day I hand back the graded assignment.

By the end of the course, your Web Portfolio should reflect and represent all of the work you have completed throughout this class. It should demonstrate your development and understanding of the tasks and responsibilities of being a good hypertextual author, including an illustrated knowledge of professional content, style, and design.
