CS130: Computer Science I

Description: Introduction to the discipline of Computer Science.  Emphasis is on problem-solving, and the implementation of solutions using a modern object-oriented language.  Programming topics include classes, methods, interation and decision structures, string processing, elementary I/O, graphics, and 1-dimensional arrays.  Proper software development strategies will be stressed.  Students will apply what they learn during a weekly one-hour lab session.
