`Australia is a big country I recorded the weather for the capital city Sydney. Australia is located in the southern hemisphere so naturally their seasons are the opposite of ours. Their winter in June, July and summer is in December, January, and February. Most of Australia is dessert and so it is a lot like Arizona. Sydney has warm to hot temperatures year round. Even though australia gets rain it will evaporate very quickly. Only one third of Australia gets enough rain for farming wail here in Illinois we can farm in the whole state! In some parts of Australia there is less than 10 inches of rain a year. In the summer time Australia could be 122° F. in the shade and in the winter it could be below freezing.
