Another country
I did was Oslo, Norway. Norway is in Northern Europe. So they
would have the seasons as we do. Although Norway is very far north
of the equator and close to the north pole temperatures are not a
could as you would expect. The reason why is simple. The water
in the golf of Mexico is warm and when it leaves it travels up the Atlantic
to Norway and brings heat tot their beaches. So if it were not for
the golf of Mexico Norway would be very cold. The rain fall in Norway
is about 80 inches a year. The average temperature on the coast of
Norway in the summertime is 61° F. and the average temperature in the
winter is 27°F. Norway has very short summers but they are well
enjoyed. They also have very long cold winters. In the short
summer norway has you can see the sun all day and all night because you
are so far north. from noverber to the and of January on Norway you
can never see the sun at all! In the capital city, Oslo it is 29°
F. in January. Norway was my favorite country to study.
