Associate Professor of Psychology

B.S. Psychology with Honors, James Madison University (formerly Madison College), summa cum laude; M.A. Psychology, Trinity University at San Antonio; Ph.D. Psychology, Purdue University. 

Rene Verry teaches a variety of courses in Psychology including: Introductory Psychology, Principles of Learning, Sensation & Perception, Industrial - Organizational Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Gender Issues in the Workforce. Her research interests are equally eclectic and include: animal discrimination learning, environmental enrichment for captive animals, sexual harassment, and survey research. Professor Verry also chairs the Millikin University Human Participants Institutional Review Board, is the coordinator of the annual Millikin Undergraduate Poster Symposium, and is the Departmental Webmaster. She has been a member of the Millikin faculty since 1984.
